About Amber&Eden Tallow
I Didn't Discover Tallow.
I Inherited It!
It began on a small farm in Germany's Black Forest, beside my grandmother's restaurant.
I grew up where nothing was wasted and everything had a purpose. My grandmother was a chef—practical, meticulous, and never interested in trends or shortcuts. In her kitchen, Tallow wasn't something extraordinary. It was simply what you used.
For cooking. For burns. For dry winter hands. For skin weathered by long days working outdoors. She never called it ancestral skincare. She never called it anything at all.
It was simply the jar on the shelf—the one everyone reached for because it always worked.
As a little girl, I watched her render it slowly. I helped stir the pot. I learnt that the best things are rarely complicated; they simply require patience, care, and respect for the ingredients.
Years later, when I moved to Australia, I brought that tradition with me. Not as nostalgia. As something worth preserving.
For the next decade, I worked as a professional chef. That experience shaped everything about Amber & Eden.
Professional kitchens teach you to understand fat in a way few people ever do—how it behaves under heat, how texture changes with technique, and how patience always creates a better result.
Those same skills now guide every balm I make. The way I slowly render the tallow. The careful temperature I maintain. The long calendula infusion. The final texture. None of it is accidental.
Every jar reflects years of professional training, refined through craftsmanship and attention to detail.
I believe exceptional skincare begins with exceptional ingredients. The tallow comes from local Australian grass-fed cattle. Every botanical is certified organic.
Calendula flowers are slowly infused into the tallow before anything else is added, allowing their properties to become part of the balm rather than simply mixed into it.
You'll never find unnecessary fillers, synthetic fragrances, harsh preservatives, or ingredients I wouldn't feel comfortable using on my own family.
As a chef, I learnt that quality ingredients need very little interference. The same philosophy guides every product I make. Amber & Eden was created for people who want simple, honest skincare. For sensitive skin. For parents looking for something gentle enough for their children.
For anyone who wants to understand every ingredient they're putting on their skin and trust that each one has been chosen with purpose.
This isn't mass-produced skincare.
Every jar is handmade in small batches, using traditional methods, local Australian grass-fed tallow, certified organic botanicals, and the same care I once brought to every plate leaving a professional kitchen.
Thank you for supporting slow craftsmanship, honest ingredients, and a small family business.
I hope your skin loves it as much as mine always has x
